Sylvania Site Co. formed from a small family excavating business, Getgen Site Co., originally started by John Getgen. With 50 years of construction and excavating experience, John Getgen continues to work, guide, and play an important role in the company's operation. From a young age, John's sons learned the value of a hard day's work and began to cultivate a love for uncovering the earth. The next generation has met the challenge of the modern construction industry with education and technology. Sylvania Site Co. employs qualified Project Managers, Engineers, and Estimators from ABET accredited civil engineering programs to ensure each project receives quality attention, everytime. Due to growth in public bids, energy development, and expansion of services, Sylvania Site Co. formed to better represent the future direction of the company.
